Story Bemang the Ancestral Frill-Neck Lizard running through Bat-Luk (Stone Kantri) on his Journey in the Buwurr (Dreamtime/Creation Epoch). Bemang is an important Djang (Dreaming). On his Buwurr journey, Bemang created Bolk (Kantri), imparting his Ngan-Mol (Life's Essence/Creator Ancestor power) into the landscape. Bemang also carried a Ngan-Mok (Letter Stick) with the languages for all the different Morwurrwurr (clans) who he gave language to. The Rarrk (cross-hatch) infill denotes the Ngan-Mol of the Ancestral Bemang.

Story Swimming through Gem (water-lilly) at the Djang (Dreaming) – Worreluk are two sista Ngal-Warri.Warri (Freshwater Mermaids), who live here. Worreluk is a 'young girl' Dreaming place. The water at this site is Wak-Jupurru (Dangerous/Sacred Water). It is a fertility site, where Ngal-Muka (women) drink from or swim so as to 'conceive' a child. Men do not swim in this Wak (water). Ngal-Warri.Warri are also Djang (Dreaming). They are shy and very beautiful, with long flowing hair.

Story This bim (painting) depicts a Ngal-Muka (woman) with her Miyowk (String Bag) full of May (bush-tucka – fruits). She is resting and 'feeling' Yingarna (Mother Earth) around her and through her. Ngal-Muka understand the 'food' chain and hold food knowledge. The right time for gathering and when to leave food for the animals. They have the knowledge of plants and animals.

Title The Ngan-Galarr (River) at Werrenbun

Story The Ngan-Galarr (River) at Werrenbun does not only provide 'life-giving' Wak (Water). It is also a source of food, 'entertainment' in observing the interaction of individual life forms with each other. It also provides 'spiritual sustenance', as all are connected to the Buwurr (Dreamtime/Creation Epoch) and are Djang (Dreaming) in their own right. Shown in Ngan-Galarr are Ngart (Short-neck Turtle), Borrt (Speckled Perch), Jarla (Catfish), Jupirri (Freshwater Long-Tom), Wutba (Eel-tail Catfish), Yarrl (Freshwater Prawn/Cheribin), Weretj-Weretj (Rainbow Fish) and Martbiyn (Barramundi). While these are all 'bush-tucka', more importantly, they are all Djang. The Rarrk (cross-hatching) infill denotes Ngan-Mol (Life's Essence/Creator Ancestor 'Power') imparted in them from the Burwurr. Martbiyn is painted in x-ray style.

Title Wak-Gorindin (First Storms) at Werrenbun

Story This bim (painting) is concerned with Wak-Gorindin (first storms) at Werrenbun. This occurs in the season Guran, which is followed by Jeyowk (heavy rain/'Wet Season'). Jati (frogs) face the on-coming storm and 'sing' in the rain. Ngarratj (White Cockatoo) perch in the Layn (trees) watching the clouds approach. A pair of 'Married-Man' Bornarrong (Brolga) prepare to seek shelter. Bornarrong are Djang (Dreaming), as are all the figures in this bim. They symbolise love, devotion and freedom. At the bottom, Juywuyuk (Whistle Ducks) gather. They are amongst Dor.Dor (Wild Rice). This is 'bush-tucka' people and birds eat. In the drying water-hole is Genga (Saltwater Crocodile). Genga is a powerful Djang. At this time of year, Genga become very 'cheeky' (aggressive) as they prepare for rain and their mating season.
